Location
Delhi, India
Description
Commissioned by a private client, White Spring is a concept chandelier designed to complement and converse with the textured paintings by British artist Henry Hudson displayed in the client's space.
The Chandelier, envisioned as a sculptural response, aimed to translate the elements used in the painting.
Designed specifically to hang in front of the painting, the chandelier occupies the space not as a competitor but as a curated extension of the canvas -bridging art and object in a single, unified installation.

Elements in the chandelier would adopt a neutral colour palette so as to not overpower the painting- white with hints of green. The challenge of picking materiality to achieve the right balance between transparent, translucent and opaque white glass would be crucial in creating a light, glow-like appeal to this sculptural floating forest.
